Billing, upgrades and cancellation

Cedarras bills through Stripe. Cedarras never sees or stores your card, and every receipt and invoice comes from Stripe. Only the account owner can change billing.

Upgrade

Go to Settings → Plan & Billing (in your account's group), choose a plan, monthly or annual, and press Upgrade. You pay on Stripe's page. When you come back, Cedarras waits for Stripe to confirm, then switches your plan on. Closing the tab early doesn't matter: the plan switches on when Stripe confirms the payment.

Manage billing

Once you have a subscription, press Manage billing to open Stripe's page. There you can change your card, see your invoices, change plan, or cancel.

What each change does

  • Moving up (a higher plan, or monthly to annual) starts immediately. You pay the prorated difference for the rest of the period.
  • Moving down (a lower plan, or annual to monthly) starts at the end of the period you have paid for, with no credit. Plan & Billing shows the pending change.
  • Cancelling keeps your plan until the end of the period you paid for. Nothing is refunded for the time left.
  • A failed payment keeps your plan for 14 days while Stripe retries. We email the account's admins before the plan moves to Free. Update your card in Manage billing to keep it.

Nothing is ever deleted

When a plan drops to Free, every course stays live, every file stays served and every student keeps learning. A limit only stops you adding more of that thing until you are back under it.

Refunds

Fees aren't refundable, but if we grant you a refund, your account moves to the Free plan straight away and your subscription is cancelled so you aren't charged again. A partial refund doesn't change your plan.

Paying by invoice

Agency plans, and Creator Pro on annual billing, can be paid by invoice instead of by card. Ask us. We set it up in Stripe, and Stripe emails you the invoice, which you can pay by bank transfer, ACH or card from its page. Your plan starts when the invoice is issued. Payment is due in 30 days. If an invoice is overdue, Plan & Billing says so, and after 14 more days a Creator Pro account moves to Free. Agency accounts are handled under their own agreement.
